Inclement Weather Closings
If our childcare center is closed due to weather, a message will be sent using the Tadpoles alerting system (which will come to the email you have on file. We will also post inclement weather closings on our website's homepage and our Facebook page (facebook.com/tlcmonroe.com). We will always make sure this crucial information is available to you. Inclement weather closings are typically made on the basis of the consensus of what most other daycare centers throughout the Monroe are are doing. We do not want to jeopardize the well-being of our staff, children, or parents by traveling under hazardous road conditions.
If it starts sleeting or snowing during the day, we may need to close early. If a decision to close early must be made during the workday, the Director or Administrator will make the decision. An email sent via the Tadpole's alerting system will be sent to you so you can come quickly to pick up your child.. If your child is not picked up in a timely manner, we will make attempts to contact your via text messages and/or a phone call.
There is no reduction in monthly fees when snow/ice or other natural disasters occur.
